FSG NickNack Reusable Cups at Optus Stadium
Australia’s first major stadium to introduce a 100% reusable cup throughout the venue!
FSG NickNack reusable cups at Optus Stadium: a very proud moment for our team.
Following a competitive process, VenuesLive has appointed FSG NickNack, a division of FrothStop Group, to deliver and manage a reusable cup system at Optus Stadium, making it Australia’s first major stadium to introduce a 100% reusable cup throughout the venue. You can read more about our cup solution here.
As a business born, built and still proudly based in Western Australia, we’re humbled to be partnering locally and supporting a fellow WA operator on a national first.
For fans, the drinks experience is enhanced, and that’s delivered with far less waste. After the cups are returned to dedicated bins, we collect, wash, sanitise and redeliver the cups, ready for reuse at future events. The initiative builds on sustainability measures already in place at the stadium and supports the WA Government’s Plan for Plastics.
“Change at this scale only happens when a lot of people are willing to work together. We’re genuinely thankful for the confidence placed in our team, and for the leadership shown by Optus Stadium and its partners in backing a practical, meaningful shift away from single-use waste. This is what creating impact beyond profit really looks like.”
Noel Watson, Co-Founder, FrothStop Group & CEO of FSG NickNack
The reusable cup system will launch at the Fremantle v Melbourne match on Saturday 21 March.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this possible.
